Solar Challenge Proposal| Energy

For Solar Challenge in Energy class I will be working with Isabel Paez and Natalia Cabrera.

DataPop is a real time, physical data visualization tool. The data is collected through solar powered data logger and is wirelessly transmitted to the data visualization tool once in a certain amount of time. DataPop consists of a canvas, balloons full of ink, servo motors and needles. You can find the rough sketch of the project bellow. Balloons are laid out in a 2-axis matrix; light and time. Depending on the value transmitted to the tool from data logger, the corresponding servo motor will move and pop the balloon on the canvas. The data will be visualized daily.
